Short Bio
Tell us about yourself?
I'm 22 currently doing a masters in computer science and engineering. I've been playing Halo since 4 years old with Halo Combat Evolved. I'm a massive Halo lore fan, loving the main story line in the games but the novels and comic books as well. My favorite game is Halo 2 / Halo 2 Anniversary. I started playing multiplayer in Halo Reach, which was when I started to understand English and found Halo Waypoint and knew that online multiplayer was a thing.
What made you want to start competing in Halo?
I wanted to start competing or at least be a better player when I saw a clip of Snip3down hitting an invincible on MLG Playlist in Halo Reach. Seeing Snip3down got me interested in Halo Competitive and I thought I could be competing too. However, I never knew how I could start. Since I was underage back then, traveling to US or England was impossible. Also, the people I played with back then were playing casually, infection Swat BTB, ect, and didn't want to compete. My first LAN "experience" was an event in Portugal "XL party" playing Halo 4. However my team consisted of only one player that played Halo, me. Safe to say that we lost. Recently I found out that 2v2 tournaments in Halo 5 were a thing and they were free to enter. Then I came across Europa Halo and their 2v2 league. This is how I started competing. I'm still a long way from becoming an amateur I would say, but I'm glad that I've started competing.
Nations Cup
How does it feel to be representing a nation in a Halo tournament?
It's pretty cool not gonna lie. Especially here in Portugal there are only a few people playing Halo 5 at the moment and less playing Halo at all. So bringing a Portugal squad to compete in a tournament is exciting and I can't wait to see how we perform.
Teams were announced on Twitter a week before the tournament. Do you feel your team has had adequate time to prepare?
Going in I already knew what the Portugal squad was going to be. However, some players work late and can't practice as much. But I think we should have enough practice to win a couple of games.
What is the biggest challenge you see ahead of you in this tournament?
It's hard to tell. England have really good squads. France as well, Germany and many others. But if I had to pick one that would be really cool to play against and would a big challenge I would say England 1 (Jimbo, procisionite, hollers and marine).
Who are you most excited to play against and why?
England 1. Recently I played with Jimbo in a community draft tournament organized by Tommi TheKrogan and Mysta, and I think I did really great. Now I would love to play against him to see how would I perform.
Who on your team is grabbing the Sniper? Rockets?
The one closer to them XD. That's a honest answer. We don't have a dedicated sniper I would say. Same thing goes for rockets.
Who is your playmaker?
I would say MR Messias PT. He lives to just hold forward or going for the flank.
Final Slayer Game is tied 49-49, What is the play?
STAY ALIVE! It depend obviously, but I can count on Fabio to get the last kill.
What would it mean to win the Nations Cup to you and your team?
It would mean a lot. It means that we can win against the best players in Europe. We would make a name for ourselves. People would recognize our names and our skill. And that's pretty cool.

How much many are you willing to spend XD? There are a lot of great restaurants... And it depends on the region as well. But if you would come to Lisbon I would say "o solar dos presuntos"
What is one thing you need to have in Halo Infinite?
Photo mode and a good theater/ observer mode. There are other features, but this one is a must!
