Its been a minute since the last Evolved Digest, and a lot has happened since August, so lets dive in!
Halo Infinite
Right off the bat, we got more Infinite content with the announcement and start of the second Halo Infinite Technical Preview that started 9/23. The second half of that preview window featuring Big Team Battle has yet to drop at the time of this writing, but there is plenty of Evolved content covering the first half, so take a moment and check it out!
Halo: Survival
Podcast Evolved is proud to announce our first ever audio drama, Halo: Survival. Featuring Rhino Squad, Halo: survival tells the story of an ONI mission gone awry (don’t they always?) and the squad’s efforts to complete the objective while also trying to do the most important thing: survive. Check out our first two episodes now, and come back in October for the final four! Episodes are available on the main Podcast Evolved feed, its own dedicated podcast feed, and our YouTube channel.
Ever More Lore
Evolved continued on with our Road to Infinite and Character Dossiers in August and September, covering Part 1 of 2557 to Infinite, the Didact, and the Banished leaders. We are getting so close to Infinite’s release, and our excitement levels are through the roof! Get caught up with all the Halo lore before Infinite releases to be sure you know everything before diving into the next chapter of Halo.
HCS Pro Talk
Our partners at HCS Pro Talk celebrated a huge milestone in September, episode 200! To make the event that much more exciting, Josh and Will were even able to get the Halo Esports Lead Tashi on to chat about the future of Halo Esports with the impending release of Halo Infinite in December. Halo Book Club
We discussed two more Halo short stories in August and September, The Return from Halo: Evolutions and Breaking Quarantine from the Halo Graphic Novel. Both are good reads and quick talks, so take a few and catch up on these lesser-known stories of the Halo universe.
