What is your Gamertag?
Carnibo
What team are you representing?
Ireland 3
Short Bio
Tell us about yourself?
24 year old from Dublin. Recently graduated from University and working as an accountant living the dream. Been playing Halo since CE. My dad bought the original Xbox on launch and 90% of my time spent gaming since has been on Halo.
What made you want to start competing in Halo?
I just enjoy the sweatiness of the teamwork and trying to get wins. For me, it's just more enjoyable than playing social games.
Nations Cup
How does it feel to be representing a nation in a Halo tournament?
It's great craic tbh. I enjoy that this is going to bring bragging rights much more so than a random name of an 'org' winning an event.
Teams were announced on Twitter a week before the tournament. Do you feel your team has had adequate time to prepare?
Well I've been playing with Rellotron and Callan for a while but Samshotz hasn’t played Halo 5 in two years but we feel he brings good experience to the team being the only team member who has been to LAN.
What is the biggest challenge you see ahead of you in this tournament?
Developing adequate levels of teamwork. Communication needs to improve too.
Who are you most excited to play against and why?
Wales 1.
Who on your team is grabbing the Sniper? Rockets?
Callan sniper I'd say. Rellotron loves rockets. I'm always whiffing shots with both.
Who is your playmaker?
Me 100%
Final Slayer Game is tied 49-49, What is the play?
Take 2 seconds to just take stock of where everyone is. Excellent communication needed at this point to identify where the enemy are and if there's any possibility to isolate one of them and get a kill.
What would it mean to win the Nations Cup to you and your team?
Won't happen tbf. But I reckon we'd go down with Roy Keane, Brian O'Driscoll and Liam Brady as legends and GOATs.
Rapid Fire
Favorite Halo game?
Halo 2. Classic obviously.
Favorite competitive Halo map?
Stupid question. Has to be lockout.
Favorite competitive Halo game mode?
2v2s on lockout back in the day were unreal. For testing a 4v4 teams capability, flag is the best.
Favorite competitive Halo weapon?
H2 battle rifle.
If HCS Pro Talk were to visit your home country, where is one place we’d have to eat?
Dublin honestly has 100’s of amazing options food wise. There's a brilliant Japanese restaurant I frequent quite often called Yamamori. The place turns into a nightclub in the basement after hours too which is pretty cool.
What is one thing you need to have in Halo Infinite?
BR starts.
