Today, we are excited to be taking a look at the latest assortment of Micro Action Figures from the Halo Mega Construx line – with these figures themed entirely around the upcoming Halo Infinite. The assortment includes five UNSC figures, two Covenant/Banished figures, and a buildable Pelican.
Halo Infinite Blind Bag Codes:
Marine (188010TC)
Blue Mark Seven Spartan (189007TC)
Yellow Gungnir (188008TC)
AC Master Chief (188009TC)
Holographic Pilot (189013TC)
Grunt Imperial (190012TC)
Elite Mercenary (190011TC)
Pelican (191014TC)
Starting with the UNSC figures, we have some interesting ones. The Marine is a nice inclusion for army builders, but it does suffer from non-painted kneepads, and from shoulders without the armour notches, meaning you can’t equip this figure with shoulder plates, stopping it from being used with sets like the UNSC Gear Pack. The Blue Mark Seven Spartan is nice – with some strong colours which really pop and help to make a nice figure. I also appreciate the inclusion of the Brute Shot here, too. The Gungnir is a surprising standout in this line too – with some nice colours, some detailed paint for the visor, and also the inclusion of the Covenant Carbine – a nice weapon which we don’t see often enough now.
We also get two transparent UNSC figures. We get a nice version of Master Chief in active camouflage, and also a nice Holographic version of The Pilot – complete with a removable pilots helmet and suspenders. This is a nice way for fans who cannot afford the Pelican to still get their hands on someone who is quickly becoming a fan favourite character.
On the Covenant side, we get the awesome inclusion of the Grunt Imperial – a fantastic army builder figure which fans of Halo 4 are bound to appreciate. The colours here match the Recon Getaway Grunt Conscript too, which is a nice attention to detail. Lastly, we have the iridescent purple Elite Mercenary – complete with a gorgeous marbled energy sword. This figure pops nicely in person, and is bound to be a popular army builder.
Finally, but certainly not least, we have a buildable micro Pelican – complete with some fantastic articulation and some lovely small details. This build is a great addition to the line and I have a lot of appreciation for it.
Overall, Series 12 of Halo’s Micro Action Figures introduces some great army builders and some cool unique characters here. The line-up is a nice balance of characters and amassable troops, and is bound to be popular with Mega Construx fans.
