SUMMARY

As the Flood continued to win their war with the Forerunners, the remaining Forerunners fell back to their last defenses, the Halo arrays. Though the Forerunners amassed the last of their fleet, including a single Halo at the Greater Ark, the Flood managed to win the battle, destroying the Halo and the Greater Ark. With nothing left of Forerunner civilization left except the Halo Array and the Lesser Ark, the IsoDidact and remaining forces fell back to the Ark, using it to wipe out all sentient life in the galaxy.
