Summary
CLASS: Unknown class refit station
DIMENSIONS: 30 x 10 x 3.2 km
DESTRUCTION: Sep 2552
Though not strictly a warship, the Unyielding Hierophant was a vital refit station designed to support Covenant fleets operating far from Covenant space. The Hierophant's service record is largely unknown, though it is known to have been used to support the Prophet of Truth's fleet just prior to the Battle for Earth. With the capacity to support several hundred or possibly thousands of Covenant vessels, this would have proven devastating to the remaining UNSC forces were it not for the last-minute actions of John-117 and Blue Team who infiltrated and destroyed the station, taking out most of Truth's fleet in the process.
Service Record
The Unyielding Hierophant was a Covenant refit and resupply station, and also served as a base of operations for staging Covenant fleets prior to battle. The first known detection of the Unyielding Hierophant was by the crew of the Gettysburg-Ascendant Justice in September 2552, following the Battle of Installation 04 and the Massacre at Eridanus Secundus. After discovering that the Covenant had discovered the location of Earth and was amassing a fleet for an attack, Spartan-II Blue Team along with a fragment of Cortana infiltrated the Unyielding Hierophant, overloaded the station’s reactors, and destroyed the entire vessel along with nearly five-hundred additional Covenant warships in the vicinity.
