The Raid on Anodyne Spirit was a operation by Banished forces on the Ark to recover fragments of a Forerunner slipspace flake from the Anodyne Spirit, also known as the dreadnaught or the keyship. Left by the Prophet of Truth following the end of the Battle of Installation 00 in 2552, Atriox wanted to take advantage of the fragments to allow for near-instantaneous travel from the Ark back to the Orion Arm of the Milky Way galaxy.

The raid was ultimately successful, though not without incident. During the operation, numerous Banished warriors were lost when they contacted Covenant forces who had been surviving within the Anodyne Spirit, guarding it from hostile forces for the last seven years. Following the recovery of the slipspace flake fragments, Atriox contacted his second in command Escharum and ordered him to open a slipspace portal on the planet Reach. In October 2559, the portal was successfully activated and Atriox was able to travel from the Ark back into the galaxy.
