SUMMARY

Spartan-II Black Team, on a covert mission on board the ONI vessel Long Time Coming, crash-land on an uncharted moon along with Covenant carrier Clarity of Faith. The team discovers the moon is actually part of the Forerunner Line Installations during the Forerunner-Flood War, and the station's monitor wants to use the humans and Covenant forces to study the effects of the Flood. Black Team and the Covenant form a temporary cease-fire to allow them to escape, and the Spartans are able to destroy the monitor and escape the planet.
