The Battle of Bliss was a Covenant attack on the outer colony world of Bliss on February 13th, 2526.  On this day, 45 Covenant ships entered the system containing the planet Bliss and wiped out the entire human presence, including glassing the planet and killing millions.  The three UNSC ships in-system were destroyed within one minute of engaging the Covenant fleet.
